About the 7th National Catholic School Improvement Colloquium

This year’s colloquium theme draws inspiration from Pope Leo XIV’s Apostolic Letter “Drawing New Maps of Hope”, which invites us to approach Catholic education as a shared endeavour, one that places the human person at the centre, remains grounded in faith, and stays open to renewal. As the Pope reminds us, “Christian education is a collective endeavour: no one educates alone."

It directs our attention to practical pathways and encourages us to learn across Catholic education systems and charisms, forming “educational constellations” as we respond to shared challenges. Above all, it highlights hope as a method: practical, courageous, grounded in reality, and oriented towards renewal for the mission entrusted to us.
